Meet Our Founder
Alex Allen, founder and owner of Panhandle YardHouse, an indoor baseball training and development facility dedicated to providing athletes of all ages with the tools, instruction, and environment needed to excel on and off the field. Alex brings a passion for baseball and years of hands-on coaching experience and business leadership. Alex’s expertise in functionalizing the facility comes from hands-on involvement in youth and travel baseball and continued education in coaching principles and business operations, being certified by USA Baseball coaching categories. Alex built Panhandle YardHouse to be more than just an indoor training facility — it is a community space dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential.
Alex's Story
Alex is a local native of Pensacola Florida graduating high school from West Florida High School of Advanced Technology in 2006. He has held a position on the Board of Directors of the Youth Association of Northeast Pensacola for multiple years. He has been the head coach of the travel baseball team Gorillas based out of Cantonment, FL. The team has since transitioned to becoming a part of the Panhandle YardHouse and is known as the YardHouse Gorillas.
He oversees all aspects of the operation, from daily facility management and training program design to building partnerships with local teams and coaches. Alex’s mission is simple: to provide athletes with a professional environment driven by a belief that “Excellence Starts in the Yard,” Alex is committed to fostering an environment where athletes can develop their skills, build character, and strengthen their love for the game.
